A systematic exploration of
systemic design.
Systemic design is an exciting area of innovation for social and environmental change. This project is based on a systematic qualitative literature review that I conducted to unearth current and prominent systemic design frameworks. The diagrams and visualisations presented here are a result of analysing the literature surrounding systemic design frameworks and synthesising them using sense-making tools (diagrams, maps, infographics).
The end result is a toolkit that presents a comprehensible and engaging summary of the principles, processes and tools related to systemic design. The full process has been documented in a process journal that will be printed as a hard cover book. The main design tools used throughout this process were Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign.
